Q: How were you inspired to start your business?
I had been working Freelance as a Careers Advisor, I had been involved in running events, training, Coaching and Consultancy services voluntarily and informally in different capacities. I had a really great opportunity come up after reviewing where things where, seeing that I really needed to take a step and formalise those things I had been dabbling In, and to take responsibility for myself, my career and development and support people in a different level and better use my skills. Things have certainly evolved over the years.
Q: How much do you love what you do?
I love what I do a lot, the range of people, businesses and leaders I work with . I love being a part of creating and inspiring change and working with people who are new paradigm leaders and passionate about legacy, their mission and transformation. The ripple effect this creates also makes it exciting, being part of this magic.
Q: If you could go back to a point in your life when you were facing a challenge, what inspirational advice would you give yourself?
It would be to pause and have deeper trust in myself and the magic. That God has my back and I am deeply supported. Stepping back will allow the practical wisdom to come. Also that their is growth and learning to be found in every situation and I will overcome, this is just a mountain which I will reflect on , and has now power to destroy me.
Q: Tell us how your business inspires your clients!
My business works to inspire my customers on a number of levels. Firstly when we start working together they may be overwhelmed or may not have the clarity they need or feel burnt out or consumed by their to do list. For others it may be about needing a strategy or refresh in life/ business, so on a practical level by setting things right / planning and coming up with fresh ideas or taking away some of their workload it allows the space to be created to receive fresh perspective.
It also about being able to connect to their bigger picture, deep desires ,and who they really are called to be in the world. When we take the pressure off, there is space for new inspiration and freedom to be in the world, and to know they don’t have to settle.
I work in a real hybrid way of practical, easeful, breaking down complexity and making things bitesized combined with a real ability to see bigger pictures, big visions and things on a grand scale. I connect with tangible combined with the connection to intuition and inner wisdom, so it is really holistic, I’m strategic but yet its not from a purely outer/ doing place, but centred around being and individual expression, yet its not just the inner work, but around butting things into movement without complication or overload/ forcing energy.
Q: Knowing you aren’t alone in something and that there is light at the end of the tunnel means a lot when you are feeling low. What is a typical problem someone you work with might be facing and how do you guide them back into the light?
With my service it is often about supporting my clients back to the light and reminding them of what’s important when they are feeling low. I would help my clients firstly to celebrate the successes and things they have achieved and those strengths and things about them that name them special. I would support them to see the things they have already overcome to see that it is possible for them to overcome whatever they are experience.
Also supporting them to see and think about those things in their future that they are looking to create which helps to focus on the great things and possibilities the future holds.
A problem someone might face may be that they are in their business, they have a vision and things they want to achieve, they have goals but things in reality don’t seem to be matching up. This might affect motivation, maybe the money isn’t coming, clients or results. Like they are working really hard, long hours, not getting free time, family time and everything is super overwhelming. They might feel stuck, doing tasks in their business they don’t love, there’s not the joy there should be or space to really focus on the things that light them up. It also might be around Confidence, being able to be who they are born to be or being able to say no much more, so they can choose and take ownership of what happens in their life.
Being clear about priorities and connecting with their hearts desire and take inspired actions is also key. Also if the person has a Spiritual belief or Faith, I would encourage them to connect to that , and develop their practices, and time out for self care, and looking after your health/ well being/ fun also and getting any support you need also helps.
