Q: How were you inspired to start your business?
I studied psychology and business studies at college so have always been interested in these areas – I knew coaching was for me when I read “Be Your Own Life Coach” when I was 19. I decided then that I’d be a life coach when I was older.
When I first became a coach I was so excited! it honestly was a dream come true. but I didn’t expect how much of a challenge it would to attract clients! figuring out my branding, message and how to actually run a business was more difficult than I first realised. I just wanted to coach people and help them to create their dream life! Through coaching other lightworkers I found they had the same challenges so began to share what I was learning – that’s when Healing Business Academy was born.
Q: How much do you love what you do?
I think the measure of how much you love something is how much it lights you up – coaching clients and helping them to release blocks, get clear and shift energy is the best feeling in the world! It’s so energising and rewarding!
Q: If you could go back to a point in your life when you were facing a challenge, what inspirational advice would you give yourself?
My path unfolded mainly thanks to books – these were the days before Facebook and it was quite a lonely path because I didn’t know many people who were interested in personal and spiritual development. I wish I had have found more like-minded people earlier on to share the journey with, so seek like minded people to connect with would be my advice.
Q: Tell us how your business inspires your clients!
My customers feel energised, empowered and they feel things are simplified, more possible and have the confidence to go out there and keep moving forward to help more people! The Healing Business Academy is a beautiful space where we can connect and share the journey.
Q: Knowing you aren’t alone in something and that there is light at the end of the tunnel means a lot when you are feeling low. What is a typical problem someone you work with might be facing and how do you guide them back into the light?
Being a lightworker in business can be overwhelming at times – there’s so much stuff to learn, think and do, it can be overwhelming. Knowing that there is a safe healing space, to connect with your centre and align your vision again, clear any resistance and re-focus on the light is liberating. I love helping people to bring their sparkle and joy back!
Q: As people we are always evolving and learning things on our life journey. Where do you find inspiration?
I’m such a book worm! I read and journal most days. I have a few role models in the industry that I look up to, such as Carrie Green, Russell Brunson and Joanna Martin. My main source of inspiration is the wisdom of nature – I love being around trees. I find children so inspiring – I volunteer at my children’s school and love exploring art and books with them. They are fascinating to talk to and I love re-discovering the world through their perspective.
Fabulous interview Ces and Sarah. Great questions which really illuminated Sarah’s talents and vision! Not sure if it is possible to slow down the scrolling quotes? Some of them are quite wordy, so I found it difficult to read in time before it flashed on by! :)))
Ces – I need to chat to you about costs of designing branding and a website for me… See my facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/Tai-Chi-Chih-Oxford-UK-355018158041650/. and maybe I should be interviewed by you too for your website?
Thanks so much
Tina
