You likely already have some amazing ‘easy sale’ products or services ready to go. Assess what you have as low end ‘first step’ type of offerings that can lead to bigger sales further down the customer journey. You could also reframe some of your most popular offerings that you know usually sell well and use these as part of the STEP 1 brand boost for promotion.

Create a short paragraph of sales blurb to go along with each offering. Give them great reasons that they will resonate with within your copy and focus on a strong CALL TO ACTION point to end with, inviting your potential customers to say YES! Combined with a comfortable price point these will be offerings that reach out to a wide audience.

Put together designs that tap into the emotion of the RESULT of what you are offering. What are the benefits of buying? How will they feel after they have bought? Use colours, fonts, graphics, icons, and or images that make this feel really relevant to your potential customers right now.

Everything about the promotion piece, whether for online (website, newsletter, social media) or offline, should make this introductory sale an easy choice for potential clients to make.

Step 2 is upselling to existing customers. As well as reaching out to new audiences, you can often make easy sales from someone who is already on your radar just by reminding them of how you can help / making them feel good about the benefits of what you sell. Existing customers are easy to sell to because they already know and like you and value what you offer, making presenting a mid price tag offering a good idea.

Choose a ‘no brainer – next step’ product or service that is ideal for existing customers and think about interesting ways to present information about the benefits of your offering – going beyond an advert or promotion post. You could consider info graphics or a slideshow. Bullet points with icons or photographs that evoke the right emotion to influence the sale effortlessly with authenticity work well too. When you have put some effort into making the way you present this offering look good as well as sounding and FEELING good, it’s an easy YES for them to invest in this next step and buy.

Remember to tell your existing customers you appreciate them too. Your promotion could read that, as a valued customer you have put together something special that you know can be of benefit to them.

Consider positioning something as an Exclusive Limited Time Offer for valued existing customers only. Perhaps throw in a freebie of some description (something you have pre-created that is no cost/low cost to you – and is of value to them, perhaps a branded pdf download of tips or information)

Share your promotion directly with existing customers via email or messenger. Present this as an exclusive invitation.

Step 3 is your VIP Enhanced Bundle Offer

What mid to high price tag offerings do you have that you can put together into a highly desirable VIP package?

The point of this promotion piece is put together an unmissable offer. Use the template in your download for this step to clarify your package deal.

Start with your MAIN OFFERING, describe it with great benefit bullet points… you could also include an EXTRA OFFERING to make a higher price tag sale. Then List one or more BONUS offerings… these could be usual products/services or a digital product such as a workbook, printables, ebook, pre-recorded webinar or interview – something extra that will be of benefit to your customer. Next add an incentive for them to BUY NOW with an EXTRA LIMITED TIME BONUS (again this could be another digital product, something similar to above or even a GIFT VOUCHER for money off a future additional purchase)

Adding in no cost/low cost things for you to create, or that you have already created, will enable you to put together an impressive unmissable VIP offering to promote that is suitable for new and existing customers.

Remember to add an enticing call to action when you publish and send out your promotion.

Remember the visual look and vibe of a high price tag offering is much easier to sell if it LOOKS AND FEELS exclusive and luxurious – of incredible value.

Step 4 “RE-USE & RE-CYCLE”

What popular products / services could you do FEATURE PROMOTION for?

You can jazz up and create a buzz for these chosen products and services by making an OFFERING OF THE WEEK, or month, or special deal with a linked freebie and creating a Graphic Badge to promote this with… DEAL of the week (or month) could become a regular FEATURE that you use to promote a different offering on rotation.

Blog about the benefits of this amazing offering (or vlog/livestream/ or runa webinar if that is more aligned)… create a banner and some social share posts for it… promote it to your audience far and wide and ask your audience to share it for you too.

A great way to do a FEATURE PROMOTION is by putting the focus on showing the benefits either through ‘inside insight’ or ‘case study’ or ‘top tips’ and ‘advice’ as opposed to making it a direct sales promotion… you can easily make the sales by showing the benefits of what you are presenting.

Seasonal Promotions or Promotions relevant to what is currently going on and relevant to your audience are a great way to engage too.

Step 5 is COLLABORATE

One of the quickest ways to reach a wider audience is by collaborating with people who have a similar ideal customer group to you without a crossover of services.

You could put together a joint offering… or create a freebie ‘opt in’ promotion together… or interview each other… do guest blogs or features for each other… you could seek out opportunities to be part of virtual summits or gain PR through online magazines and sites who reach your ideal audience.

Another way to collaborate is having affiliate/referral schemes with ideal partners / colleagues… or just ASKING people to SHARE your content and offering to do the same for them.
