Anyone can heart doodle. Whether you are feeling creative and want to get your coloured pens out to fill the page, or you just want to scribble a little heart. Whatever feels right to you at the time is perfect.
Adding a doodle is such an easy way to get out of your head space where your mind will start over thinking and let you get back into your heart space and feel the emotion and connection to whatever you are writing.
This has wonderful benefits for journalling to get things on paper and release emotions you have been feeling, to record your gratitude, or if you are journalling to manifest whatever your heart desires.
Use your doodle to help you connect to what you are writing. For example, if you want to release some negative thoughts or worries or perhaps get out of feeling frustrated over something that has happened that day, you could doodle a heart (which represents you) and sketch little arrows with scribbles and words being directed away from the heart. Perhaps add in little hearts after the arrows which represent those negative emotions being transformed into positive ones and you welcoming more positive things into your life instead. This can help you put focus on shifting the energy. It does not matter whether you write words or just draw the little shapes, so long as your inner knowing is connected to the meaning.
If you want to manifest something, you could perhaps sketch out a more expansive heart doodle. For example, add in little stars to represent magic and success or add little leaves to represent growth. If you want to manifest wealth and abundance, consider using a gold pen for your doodles or sketch a heart with lines like light rays surrounding it. Expansive swirls and mandalas are easy ways to doodle for manifesting too. As you draw them, imagine your excitement at receiving what you want and visualise your positive energy as it ripples out into the world to attract what you desire.
Heart doodles are great for adding a visual boost to your ‘I AM’ affirmations too. Repeat the affirmation over and over in your head or say it out loud as you doodle whatever your heart wants to draw to go along with your statement. Remember it does not matter if your doodle turns into a work of art or ends up looking like a scribble that has nothing to do with what you wrote. Doodling is just a way of helping you to connect to the energy.
You might like to make this a daily practice to go along with writing down what you are thankful for each day. Gratitude is such a powerful way to bring yourself back into a positive place if you have been feeling down. Being thankful will always bring you even more to be thankful about too.
