Q: How were you inspired to start your business?
I had had the dream for many years to create my own beautiful space to share with others. About 4 years ago I was fortunate to receive some financial help, so i thought – lets go for it! This is the time! Id been teaching on and off for many years – dance, art, wellbeing, meditation classes/workshops – now I had the opportunity to put it all together and make my own community of like-minded people and help as many people as I can. I also love the fact that I can rent the space out to other teachers and therapists.
Q: How much do you love what you do?
I am an ultra creative and I feel so blessed to have so many different gifts/talents that I am able to share with others. The things I share are the things that really have helped me in my life. I can put my hand to most things, even though learning to structure myself and not take on too much are a challenge for me!
Q: If you could go back to a point in your life when you were facing a challenge, what inspirational advice would you give yourself?
I would say – dont think too much my sweet heart, do things that nuture and nourish you, the answers will come in time, not by force or stress, love yourself and let go…
Q: Tell us how your business inspires your clients!
I think the space I have created really enables people to relax and let go. They really love being here and what we are offering. They are inspired to bring some of the energy/wisdom they have gained into their own worlds. It is much needed in our local area and some of the things we are offer here are quite unique.
Q: Knowing you aren’t alone in something and that there is light at the end of the tunnel means a lot when you are feeling low. What is a typical problem someone you work with might be facing and how do you guide them back into the light?
Someone who would come to me may feel that they are not very creative, or very expressive, they may suffer from disliking how they look/move/are…i would help them love and accept themselves more, by connecting with their inner goodness, power & potential through movement, meditation, mindfulness, music, and art. I would inspire them to create uplifting nurturing thoughts, feelings and activities that would make them feel good and beautiful.
Q: As people we are always evolving and learning things on our life journey. Where do you find inspiration?
Reading inspiring books & magazines, Listening to/dancing to music, connecting with friends, writing, meditating, walking and sometimes the internet! (we love you x)
Q: Businesses are always evolving too… what are you inspired to do next?
I’ve just finished my debut music album after 3.5years! Its a unique blend of new age, world, soul and pop – so i will be promoting and sharing that in various concerts/events very soon.
In terms of the space – i hope to developing my wellbeing days with different themes and possibly into wellbeing weekends. Theres also an option to open things up more to families/children.
